Alphabet Brew Tap & Food Yard
DJs, street food, and Manchester-brewed beer every Saturday afternoon.
Alphabet Brewing opens the doors on Palmerston Street for the Saturday Tap and Food Yard. DJs, street food, and beer brewed on the other side of the unit, with free entry and an afternoon that has a habit of becoming an evening. A paddle is the sensible start: a few of their own beers, small enough that you can decide what to stay on before the yard fills.
It runs from midday to 10pm on 14 November, in Ardwick, a short ride from the universities and the Oxford Road corridor. The yard works because the brewing kit is right there and the food stalls are set up for grazing rather than a single sitting. Go hungry. Grab a bench while the sun is still on it, then stay if the later set is the one you came for. Coats in the afternoon, layers you can lose once the yard packs in. No ticket, no fuss, just a Saturday that does not need a plan beyond the first drink.
