Macsen at Poynton Workmen's Club
Cabaret vocal and instrumental set in the Vernon Suite.
Macsen play a cabaret vocal and instrumental set in the Vernon Suite at Poynton Workmen’s Club. Cabaret here means songs up close, a bit of show, and a duo or small lineup you can actually watch, in a club room rather than a West End theatre. The suite has a stage, a bar, and an audience that comes out for Saturday night in the village.
Doors are from 8pm on 28 November, through to about half eleven. The address is 142 Park Lane. If you are a regular you already know which side of the room hears the vocals best. If you are new, arrive as the doors open and take a seat before the first number. It is a local booking, the sort of night that works because the journey is short and the set is built for people who want to sing along without buying an arena ticket. Check the club closer to the date if you want the running order.
